Well may not be half as pretty but nonetheless-- "Hey there Alex!" he grinned readily and clapped the boy's shoulder juuuust as strongly as he did in the platform. Heh. "Ready to go study the divine?" he grinned as he slid his eyes quickly at the Professor standing in front of the class. Just then he felt someone take the seat next to him. Oh, look another divinely brunette "Howzit goin' Evelyn!" he greeted his fellow Slytherin happily. For all the stair climbing he has to go through to get to this classroom, the view can be worth it.
Now if he could just spot that one more Heavenly Body he'd be a very happy lad right now oh yes indeedy Quote:

That would hopefully not take long, as she turned and picked up the crystal ball off the table behind her carefully before returning her attention to the class to hold it up so they could all see it better. “What is the first thing that comes to mind when you see this?,” she asked, before grinning a little as she looked at the glass herself. “I’m not going to bother asking if you even know what this is, but if that factors into your thoughts, I don’t mind.” She just had to hope the ideas weren’t too crazy, because she didn’t want to get distracted and drop the crystal ball. She didn’t have half as many of those as she did her Tarot cards, so replacements wouldn’t be as available. ooc: Okay. Class has started, so anyone who hasn’t “entered” yet should just pretend they’ve been here all along. Get as creative as you like with answers, but as usual, try to limit yourself to only one or two ideas so everyone can try to participate. And no copying from Google/Wikipedia/etc., as usual. Use your own words, as I will know if you don’t. Alex nodded and wobbled on his seat a bit when Salamander (or whatever his name was) pat him on the back...he hadn't been expecting that. He was about to open his mouth and reply with a grin that he was totally ready for divination, when the class began. OOOOH look at that pretty crystal ball in her hands! He needed a crystal ball. Not to look into, but just as decoration. They were so cool looking.
He raised his hand. "Well, when I look at it I think of prophecies. I mean, I know that's NOT a prophecy, but they look very similar--round orb, allusion of swirly stuff inside, except the prophecies actually HAVE something in them whereas the orbs just LOOK like they do..." he stopped, realizing that he was rambling. "Or...so I've heard."
But yeah. Prophecies. That's what he thought of.
