Then again it would only take one student to kill a plant and then her day would be ruined... not to mention the child would have hell to pay (figuratively speaking).
"Yes... it seems so long ago when I was a student here. You never trully realise what a pain in the backside you were until you see things from a different perspective."And indeed, she would have been a pain. Tracking mud and dirt through the castle, falling asleep in classes, starting food fights... and those were mild misbehaviours. Still at least Seren could say she always had good manners and appologised, and paid for her mistakes.
"Yes the students are generally speaking well mannered... in fact in most cases they're just down right delightful." With the exception of a couple of students. One of which was questionably and the other... well she was an excitable first year- not an issue.
Gemma shook her head trying to remember all the mischief she got into in school, "Yes now that I'm on this side, I'm wondering how many times the professors were on the verge of just jinxing me. " she said thinking of one time she had accidentally, well maybe not completely accidentally, made a jug of water explode in Transfiguration and instead of helping clean up she just laughed uncontrollably. "The students have been amazing, but in the back of my head I'm thinking that maybe they are just waiting for me let my guard down and then they will attack." she said with a little giggle.

"Hectic isn't really doing it justice." Lily laughed. She wasn't one to complain, but she WAS honest, to a fault sometimes. It was the Gryffindor in her. "Although I have yet to do that. I may do it today if I have any more coffee, though, so I hope everyone keeps it away." HEH. She giggled.

She was about to comment on the grass and fences thing...

Gemma laughed a little bit at the woman's comment, "Well if you get to that point, let me know and I will come run around crazy with you...it's better to go crazy in a group..." she said teasingly.

She glanced at the Headmaster wondering if he was joking and deciding to take it just at that she smiled genuinely at him and with a small laugh said, "Well it was hard getting it to green up with so little natural light, but now it is just beautiful and the students are enjoying rolling in it." she said with a friendly wink towards him.

Noting the presence of another women, of whom was unknown to Fina, she smiled casually in return. "Josephina Hadley," she said by way of introduction. She thought she recognized the women as having seated herself in Sylvie's seat at the feast, but couldn't be certain. After all, Sylvie wasn't one she really knew, other than the fact that she taught History of Magic succeeding Lainey.
Gemma smiled back, "Gemma Cerulean, nice to meet you" she said trying to remember where the woman had sat at the feast. O yes this was the Arithmancy professor.
