Alex looked at the spinx with big eyes before listening in to the professor. What did he expect? Well he expected the sphinx not to attack him that was one thing. He glanced down at his parchment for a second thinking over the professor's words.



He slowly raised his hand. "Alex Reed, Slytherin." he started, better introduce himself to the newbie professor. "I expect to see loads of cool animals." he nodded. Yeah, so he better bring them out. *firm nod* What he thought about the word respect was a thinker. He stayed quiet instead of answering that one. Besides, he was far too busy to stare at the sphinx-thingy.
