Gilbert had only been in the office for about five minutes and he could already tell his job was going to be fun. The people he worked with, the greenhouse he couldn't help but notice and his SPINNING chair. He was going to have to rub it in Cyryl's face and then make him buy him some lunch.
Hearing the door open, Gibby spun his chair in that direction and nodded a greeting to the woman who walked in. At least he wasn't the last one to arrive. But then again, it didn't seem like anyone was actually working yet, so neither were late. His attention was drawn from the woman as he noticed the man with the amazing hair. What was he looking at? More importantly, what was the guy doing working at the Ministry? He should be working over at Ollivander's! His hair could be used as wand cores.
Gibby was friend's with someone who knew someone working in the wand business. He'd get the man his business card.
He couldn't stare at the man's hair much longer however, for in the blink of an eye, he had a flower flying in his direction and he raised his hand, catching it with ease. That was nice, he supposed. And he should have expected flowers to be handed out. He couldn't help but wonder though, what did they give out in the creatures department? With a nod to the flower giving man, Gibby quickly conjured up a vase and filling it with water, he placed the flower inside.

Admiring the flower, he turned at the sound of his name. Someone knew him already!? Ohh, just the boss man. "Glad to be here!" he said, and deciding it would not be professional to scoot himself to the boss man in his chair, he stood up and made his way over. Yes, yes, a tour of the Greenhouse sounded good..with that Harper fellow who received a nod in greeting as well. Hello, work buddy.
"The Greenhouse. I've been looking forward to seeing it."
And getting paid, but he wouldn't say that.
