"As busy as always." Lily smiled politely. She'd not had a chance to get the low down on the new professors. Well, the female ones anyway. But still, the ever polite Moretti woman was just that, polite.
"Have you taught your first class yet?" Lily wasn't sure which was the lesser of the two evils, teaching children, or healing them. Quote:

Yet just before she reached the entrance area, there was some strange predicament that was pulling her in the direction of a room she only visited on a couple of occasions since taking on her position at Hogwarts.
Entering the staff room, she immediately took notice of the occupants; the headmaster, surrounded by not one, not two, but three of her fellow female colleagues. "My goodness, Casey, I had no idea you were such the ladies man." Fina mused as she took a seat at the table.
Nevermind the mead, perhaps that steamy hot liquid Seren was drinking would be better for her anyway. Lily laughed. Had to. She couldn't NOT laugh. She covered her mouth just in time, though, so that her giggles WERE, at the very least, slightly muffled.
Oh, if only Josephina knew. Quote:

"Who told on me?"
"Now that just hurts my feelings, Hadley. I might not be Max, but I have the social skills and personal habits to keep women in the room," he was ready to change the subject from his secrets to... anything else.
"Stay a while. Bentley is serving tea." Lily stopped laughing when Casey addressed her again. She gave him a half grin, half smirk, and whispered "I have my sources." Healer network and the like. You know. She wasn't about to give up her source either, it was much more fun to be shifty about it all. |
