Ari loved the courtyard. It was such a relaxing place, which still kept the same air of grandeour like the rest of the castle. On a bench here, the Gryffindor could daydream for days. Not that it would benefit her to do so. Today she was just walking, not wanting to sit anywhere, since that would make her loose track of time.
Ariadne suddenly noticed a familiar face. Oh, gosh! She hadn't seen Gwendolyn in ages!
'Gwen! Wait up!' she shouted, hurrying to catch up with her friend.
'I can't believe I'm seeing you, I missed you!' she said sincerely, and without further ado, gave the Ravenclaw a big bear hug.
'How have you been? I'm so sad we're not in the same house...But anyways, congrats on being a Ravenclaw, that's just like my entire family.' she chuckled.
'What do you think about your housemates? And about classes? And Hogwarts? How's your cat? Did you find the spell?' Ariadne practically assaulted her friend with questions. After all, they haven't seen each other in a long time.
'Umm, what have you got there?' Ari wondered, eyeing the file.
