Sarah walked the length of the courtyard, balancing her bag in one had and her pet owl in the other. She wanted to go to the library, so that she could read peacefully. She was unsure what to do with her owl, Hedwig. Thinking of what book she should read first, she started making her way through the crowd. She looked around and saw a group of girls talking. She thought of joining them, but she didn't know them, none of them!
Sheesh, I'm feeling so, stranger like! she thought. She made her way towards a girl, who was going away from there. She called to her. "
Excuse me! Can I join you?" she asked.
