He hoped he lost an arm in a hippogriff accident or something just so they'd feel SUPER HORRIBLE for treating him like this. Then when he was on his death bed they'd all gather in his hospital room, sobbing and wishing they'd been nicer to him when he was at school...

"Well then don't expect to hear ANYTHING about Mum from me. Ever again. I'm never going to tell you anything about us ever again," he snapped. He knew he sounded incredibly immature and selfish right then, but SHE was being selfish too. Oh how he wish he was at home right now! He wanted his mum. He just wanted to cry in her arms, because she wouldn't judge him like the rest of his schoolmates. He was just 12 years old, he didn't need this dramaaaa!

"Me too," he said, even though he'd actually been planning on sitting here drawing for a while until Sierra had shown up. Now he just wanted to sleep and cry. He REALLY hoped the dormitory was empty. He did NOT want to have to deal with people right now, not even his own housemates.
Sierra stood there, not really sure what to say, and just just fixed her eyes on a random point on the wall across from her. This whole conversation hadn't turned out liked she'd expected it to at all. She and Alex were arguing again, and for some reason it seemed far worse this time than it usually did. They'd managed to open up wounds that hadn't been there before--hurtful and painful wounds.

...and she hated him for that.

"Well, I guess that's all then," she simply said. No goodbye, no see you later, no good luck the rest of the school year. Without another word or even a look of acknowledgement, she turned on her heels and headed out the corridor, disappearing around the corner seconds later.
