What in the name of Merlin is a Ghetto? She was smart, yes. But she isn't familiar with muggle stuff. Not voicing out her thoughts of course, Cass merely smiled and nodded. She really had nothing to say.
"Not really." Cass said with a shrug "You don't even think about it that way actually," She started "Most of us are actually driven by the desire to win the house cup, so that's why. The more points we earn, the more chances of winning."
"Well, I bought him when I was in first year...so he's been with me for 3 years now." Cass explained with a smile as she gently stroked his feathers.
Cynus almost closed his eyes as his mistress began to stroke his feather, no. He musn't sleep. Maybe he had a letter to send or something like that? But then why was the boy here? Maybe he had a letter to send to? He was confused now.
The Gryffindor didn't miss Cass's strange reaction at his use of muggle slang so he tried to break it down for her. He was still trying to learn certain words in the wizarding universe as well and sometimes he didn't understand it too much either. Both societies could be baffling. "A ghetto is a slum for people..." he explained quickly. "For people who sort of...have the same background as me..."
"Right. So...what happens when you win the house cup?" the fourth year asked, quirking a brow. He had never really paid attention to that house rivalry situation. It never found its way into his radar. Once in a while, he got annoyed between the assumed competition between Slytherin and Gryffindor, but other than that, he couldn't have cared less.
"He's awesome," Levi remarked blithely. "Can I pet him too or is he a biter?"
