Mordred wrote to his parents about this ship. They were a bit apprehensive at first, but since he told them that the Headmaster said it was okay to explore it, they allowed him to go. They told him to make sure he got company, and to not forget his wand. Looking behind him, he didn't see Aurora, Selador or Toby. This would have been a fun exploration if either of the three was with him.

Feeling his wand under his sleeve, he stepped on the gangplank and made his way on the main deck ignoring the creeking sound it made. "This ship was under attack." he thought as he walk past the cannon balls on the deck, careful not to trip on it. He moved around the deck and saw a different view of Hogwarts from where he was standing. "Beautiful." he said to himself. His mother being an alumna of the school, talked about it non-stop just before Mordred hopped on the Hogwarts Express for his first year. "I wonder if I can climb the crow's nest." he thought as he looked at the top most mast to see a better view of the lake. But then, this ship was old. The Slytherin in him showed. "I don't want to end up in the hospital wing." he said to himself.

Scoping the deck he saw a door. Mordred smiled at the sight. "Cool." he muttered. He pulled out his wand from under his sleeve and made his way down to the door.
