He suddenly had a vision of the girl in a panda suit. AHH, their plan was coming together!

"My name is Jamie. And WELCOME to Slytherin." He said, even wanting to embrace the girl into a hug. But he refrained, because he didn't want to freak her out. Besides, he didn't want to over-welcome her and cause suspicions.

Macy nodded. Whew! Good. At least Jamie agreed his sign was rubbish. Now she didn't have to tell him and hurt his little feelings. Hehe. She pulled out a spare- slightly crumpled- piece of parchment and a pen and began scribbling out their notice. She bit her lip in concentration. This thing had to be PERFECT. Otherwise no one would come :/

Finishing up, she added a few final details before sliding it over to him. "What do you think?" she asked. He'd better like it, considering it was FAR superior to his. The fourth year was careful to keep her hand over the part that said 'or jamie' just in cast he testified.

D: OH MAH GAWSH!! FIRSTIIIIEEE!!! *squeal*

She beamed at Jamie and the new little girl. YESSS! Their master plan was working!!
