62. Lope
Teddy had often been told he had a “lope.” He’d been offended at first. He certainly did not walk like a horse or walk with uneven, ape-like bounding as the dictionary said. But then, one day, watching muggle t.v. he’d gotten caught up in something about wolves.
“The wolves often lope casually and with the grace of a predator toward their prey as if to appear harmless and to save their energy for the chase.”
Teddy had left the den and instantly gone to find Harry. “Harry, did my dad lope?”
Harry thought for a moment. “Yes.”
Teddy smiled. “Good.”
