She should meet and hang out with his new girlfriend? Yeah right, like that was ever going to happen. "I think I'll pass on that one. I have enough friends, I don't need her as one." She did NOT want to be associated with that crazy girl any more than she had to. It was bad enough that they were in the same house.

Raising an eyebrow at him she grinned. "Since when do you go for nice girls anyway?" Giving him a little punch in the arm she grinned some more. "And I do happen to have some very nice friends, thank you very much." Geesh, did he think she couldn't be friends with nice people just because she herself tended to be a bit violent sometimes? Pfft, she totally could. All he had to do was ask Mia, she would tell him.

So he knew they could be friends again and have good times like they use to. Well he knew more than she did then. "Well only time will tell. We'll see how things are by the end of term." Heck, let's just see if they are still friends by Christmas.

What did Marie expect Carter to do to Destiny? Punch her? That really wasn't his thing.

"I'm sorry." he said. "I laugh at things. It's what I do..." Really, it was just like how Marie punched things to make herself feel better. Besides, he knew it wasn't really Destiny's fault. Okay, it was completely her fault, but she didn't do it intentionally. For some crazy reason she thought that he would be completely in love with Marie. Which made him wonder how she'd gone so many terms of being a top scorer...

Besides, if he was the first person to laugh then it wouldn't be so hard for the others not to freak out as much. At least... that's what he thought.

He chuckled at her next comment. He ran a hand through his hair and said, "yeah... seems like I have a definite type, doesn't it?" Which was weird. How often did people actually have 'types'? ~~And more importantly, how did he manage to convince three blonde pureblood Slytherin girls to date him? He must have game or something.~~

"Hey. You were nice..." he began. Then he got a nice swift little punch to the arm. "...sometimes..." He then smiled. "But I like it. I don't have to worry about missing quidditch games or having her miss quidditch games." he said with a little smirk.

"Mia...?" he wondered out loud. "I didn't know you knew Mia." he said. "I met her on the train while I was... err... still rhyming. She thought I actually talked like that." Which was crazy. He didn't even know that many words, making them rhyme would be incredibly difficult.

He shrugged lightly at her disbelief they could still be friends. "Guess you'll just have to seeee." he said in a slightly sing-song voice.
