| Jimbo will set his turtle loose on you. { The Farley } "That's trademarked, don't use it." Quote:

She wanted to pet the turtle. Would the guy get mad? 'Cause if he did then she'd tell on him. Mmhmm.
Her hand was half way to the turtle when she followed the guy's gaze and read the carving. The Farley? Stink? Peyton stared at the turtle and back at the carving trying to connect both. What if this was some kind of message from the universe telling her not to touch the turtle 'cause it was stinky?! "Who's Farley and why is it going to be stinky?" she asked, her thumb and index finger closing her nose shut. She did not want to smell anything nasty. Jimbo didn't notice the hand come out of nowhere. He was too busy eating his candy. On the other hand, he did notice the red haired head pop out of the window to look at his carving. Looking over at the girl, he laughed. "I'm Farley and it's not stinky any longer. I wrote that in fourth year after I spent a particularly entertaining afternoon throwing most of my stash of dungbombs." He wondered if he should offer her any candy. He didn't usually offer candy so lightly but he was feeling particularly generous today. And what was the point in keeping such a large amount for himself? Why not share a bit more than usual, after all he always bought more than he needed during the trips to Hogsmeade.
Not bothering to ask what type of candy she'd like, he took a chocolate frog from his pocket. Girls usually liked chocolate frogs. He didn't know why.
Holding it out for her to grab, he introduced himself. "Farley's my last name. People call me Jimbo." He handed Pebbles a licorice wand, "And this is Pebbles. He likes candy too. Sometimes I wonder if he likes it more than I do."
Most of his stash does tend to disappear from his pockets whenever he's carrying Pebbles in there. And when Jimbo wanted some he pulled out a mass of empty wrappers. |
