"Ah. I wish I could find animals in my backyard." She said as she wrinkled her nose slightly at the thought of spending the whole day scouring the grounds for a small animal....ok, maybe she didn't want to find something in the grounds. Then she realized something "What is a bat doing in your backyard? Don't bats live in caves?"
"Ah, well, there's no harm in trying to teach it..." She said with a shrug "If you want Cygnus can even teach him how to deliver mail."
"Thanks, I think I'm going to need all the luck I could get." She admitted, especially with Seirra gaining points like how Kurumi does for Gryffindor.
"He's not as gross as he looks," Levi insisted, feeling a little put off from her expression. Vlad really wasn't too different from a pet rabbit in terms of his mannerisms. He just wasn't fuzzy or anything. While he squirmed a lot in water, he was a lot cleaner than most of the other animals he could have picked up instead, like a squirrel or a rat. "We live in kind of a rural area so I guess there's a cave around somewhere. I haven't seen it but I wouldn't be surprised. It's kind of a hellhole..."
"Maybe," he said, looking a little cynical. "I hope Cyngus doesn't try to eat him or anything."
"So what do top five students get besides all the points? Do you guys get an award or anything? More breaks?" He was about to mention he would hate having to suck up to the teachers to earn extra privileges but he thought better of it. Cass seemed pretty determined.
