He couldn't help but smile a little as she continued to not-so-subtly avoid his new pet. It wasn't a mean-spirited smile in any way but he did think she was being a little too paranoid. I don't think he'll ever learn how to carry mail or anything, though." He nodded at her explanation. "Well, good luck. I don't think I could participate in something like that." It was pretty obvious from the way he coasted through his school work and cut class once in a while.
"Ah. I wish I could find animals in my backyard." She said as she wrinkled her nose slightly at the thought of spending the whole day scouring the grounds for a small animal....ok, maybe she didn't want to find something in the grounds. Then she realized something
"What is a bat doing in your backyard? Don't bats live in caves?" "Ah, well, there's no harm in trying to teach it..." She said with a shrug
"If you want Cygnus can even teach him how to deliver mail." "Thanks, I think I'm going to need all the luck I could get." She admitted, especially with Seirra gaining points like how Kurumi does for Gryffindor.
