Dani smirked and smiled in her usual way again at him- "There's your smile" she laughed as she did a little model pose at him. She soon pulled out some muggle sweets from her bag- "Want one?" she asked him as she gestured the Skittles packet towards him. "I love these things" she said softly as she popped a couple of red ones into her mouth. "Anyway- do you fancy doing some running with me this term? Y'know- out in the grounds a couple nights a week or something?" she said thinking about how unfit she was, she ran down the street and was out of breath.
Connor looked at the candies. "No thank you luv, I'm not big on sweets unless they're mints as you know." He wrinkled his nose a little. those things would probably stick to his perfect smile and he just could not have that. He reached in his pocket for his roll of toothflossing stringmints and couldn't find them. He remembered putting some in her bag on the train. He would have looked himself but knowing now how she felt he did not want to seem like he had rights he did not, he asked. "Could you look in your bag and see if I left a couple rolls of me toothflossing stringmints there?" He asked. "Yeh we can do tha, I need a workout meself, maybe we can do some swimming in tha lake too." He smiled.

She had had a long, tiresome, but ultimately boring day, and she was in the mood to just take a break for the rest of the night. Dropping her bag to the side of her chair with a thud she pulled out a copy of a book that she had bought in a muggle shop a week before she had came to Hogwarts. Her father had never approved of her reading muggle books, he said it showed fondness for those below them, but Lila didn't care. She found the fantasy book riveting, even though she was practically living in a fantasy world herself. Sighing contently Lila flipped open The Lord Of The Rings and began to read.
Connor leaned over and tapped his little friend on the shoulder. "I imagine gollum looks like a house elf." He smiled, hugging his little friend before letting her go back to her book.
