When he suddenly commented on her humming, a smirk formed on her face. "Why is it annoying? Cause believe me, it's annoying the crap out of me," the girl answered in her very Americanish like. Hey, she was from the US. Can't blame her. "It's Firework by Katy Perry. She's a muggle artist," she added, just in case he didn't know muggle music.

Smiling in rather a proud manner for this awesome idea she had come up with, she said, "I am quite the thinker," in a jokingly way. Mainly because on average, her ideas weren't that great. A small grin formed when his hand brushed hers. She barely knew who this kid was, but one thing she did know was he was kind of cute.

Peyton nodded and waited until he got down to one, and started rocking back and forth. Waaaait. She found that they were actually starting to get somewhere! Progress!
MOVE SWING, MOOOOOVE. He glared at it. Almost willing it to begin moving back and forth for him. But no, apparently this swing was not controlled by mind power either. More fooowns. She was laughing at him? GAAAASSP. But hey, he did fancy himself as somewhat of a comedian. Sometimes.. Well, other people told him he was.

"Annoying?" the American repeated, "Why, of course not!" Lies. He needed to work on his lying. He did it way to often. "Okay, maybe a little," he admitted a bit unwillingly. "But hey! It's totally-" Oh wait. It annoyed her too? Maybe it was better that he did tell the truth. Lies-0. Jayce-1. WINNER. "OHH! My mother listens to her a lot. She says it reminds her of her childhood or some sort of crap like that," the seventh year let loose a chuckle.

WAIT. Her voice. It sounded.. IT DIDN'T HAVE AN ACCENT. "Are you American?" She had to be. Being American himself made him overly excited to meet fellow AMERICANS. Because America was awesome and no one could possibly prove him wrong.

He glanced over at her again, watching her smiling face made him smile right along with her. "You must be. Hm. You're probably some sort of genius as well." he complimented somewhat nonchalantly. He liked giving girls compliments without them even knowing. It was his.. thing? He was a strange one, that's for sure.

GAAAAASSP.

Were they.. were they MOOOVING?! NO WAAAI. Jayce BEAMED. He was so excited, even if it was just a little bit that his grip around the ropes loosened slightly. It loosened just enough for him to completely loose his grip and face plant into the ground. But luckily enough for him, it didn't hurt. Strangely, it felt as though he'd fallen into pillows or a whole lot of stuffed animals.

How.. peculiar.
