Sierra was, surprisingly, in a fairly good mood as she made her way from girls dormitory and into the Slytherin common room. Maybe it had something to do with the fact that the school year had just gotten underway, or maybe it because she had yet to encounter but just one annoying Hufflepuff. Sierra wasn't sure, but either way, it surprised even her that she absolutely nothing to be annoyed about at the moment.

It was a refreshing feeling, too. If only every day could be as easy going as today... She took a quick glance around the room, taking in all the new and old faces alike, just before snagging an empty spot on a nearby couch. She craned her neck a little to peer over a crowd of first years, thinking maybe she might see one of her friends. No such luck, though. She sighed a little as she leaned back on the couch.
