But then, he started hearing some sort of.. music. It wasn't exactly a song, more like a hum, but he wasn't completely sure what song it was. It sounded vaguely familiar. Sort of like something that his mom would listen to. He gripped the swing tighter and asked, "What in Merlin's name are you humming? It sounds... vaguely familiar."

And then she laughed. It was a cute, melodic sort of laugh and it reminded him way too much of Eirian.

With a slight grin, the Gryffindor listened to the female's words, uncertain of her theory. But hey- why not give it a shot? It couldn't hurt, could it? "Hm. I like your thinking, kid." he then grabbed hold of her swing, accidentally brushing her hand in the process.

"On the count of three we start swinging." he informed her before continuing. "Ready?" he paused before continuing. "Three.." Pause. "Two," another pause. "ONE!" He shouted before proceeding to rock back and forth. Or at least attempting to.
Peyton began to laugh again as he had started to continue in his attempt to get the swing to move. One thing for sure was that is was getting him NOWHERE. He was more or less looking rather... childish. It didn't matter though! She rather enjoyed the childish manner this Giant Treehouse ensued.

When he suddenly commented on her humming, a smirk formed on her face. "Why is it annoying? Cause believe me, it's annoying the crap out of me," the girl answered in her very Americanish like. Hey, she was from the US. Can't blame her. "It's Firework by Katy Perry. She's a muggle artist," she added, just in case he didn't know muggle music.

Smiling in rather a proud manner for this awesome idea she had come up with, she said, "I am quite the thinker," in a jokingly way. Mainly because on average, her ideas weren't that great. A small grin formed when his hand brushed hers. She barely knew who this kid was, but one thing she did know was he was kind of cute.

Peyton nodded and waited until he got down to one, and started rocking back and forth. Waaaait. She found that they were actually starting to get somewhere! Progress!
