Melina brightened up at the sound of the other girl's voice. She was so excited to make a new friend- especially a Hufflepuff, as she hadn't made any friends in that house yet.

She gave the girl a big smile, and said, "Oh hi! I'm Melina Morninglory, but you can call me Melina, Mel, or Glory. I like to offer a choice," she giggled.

"What's your name? Are you a first-year too?" she asked the friendly girl.
