Ellie'd been walking around the school aimlessly for the past hour or so. She couldn't sit still. Her arms were folded across her chest and she was looking at her shoes. She didn't even know where she was, not that she cared. She was in her own, sad and depressed world. Ellie almost didn't notice anyone else was near. That is, until she ran straight into them.

"Mffgh." Escaped her lips when the collided. She nearly toppled backwards, but managed to regain her composure. "Sorry..." She mumbled, without looking at them. In all honesty, she was too out of it to care. She pulled her shirt down and looked up for a split second. She recognized the brown hair immediately. A gasp leapt out of her mouth. Alex. She couldn't move. She wanted to hug him. She wanted to kiss him. She wanted to run away. She wanted to yell. But she was frozen.

Alex wasn't really surprised he had walked into someone. Since he was in his own ~~miserable, alone and dark~~ world he had ran into a lot of people. He looked up to apologize as he usually did but when he saw who it was, there was no apology escaping his mouth. He didn't say anything. He just stared.

"Ellie..." he said, almost to himself. How could he had mistaken which day she would return to? He had already planned not to walk around the corridors when Ellie was back, he would be safe in his Common Room or on the Pitch but never ever somewhere public where they could run into each other. ~~Even though he had managed to avoid Chandler~~

"I'msorryIwasn'tlooking." he said quickly and ran a hand through his hair. What was he supposed to say now? He had no idea, it had never been awkward between them , well apart from those times when he started to discover he had feelings for her.
