Hearing her name from a familiar voice caused Lexi to immediately begin mopping at her eyes... no need for even more people to see her crying. "Hey Finlay," she said in a weak voice. Finally looking at him with puffy red eyes to go with the nasty bruise... she spoke again, "What's up?"

Attempting to deny there was anything wrong...perhaps.
