Apparently though, she hadn't been expecting a certain blond to be sitting there when she came through the entrance.
Slowing down to a stop, the Slytherin girl stared at Marie for a moment, weighing the options in her mind. Speak? Don't speak? Scoot on over to the stairs that led to the girls dormitory?...Speak? "You weren't at the feast." Hmm, there.
Still staring into the fire Marie didn't even hear when someone entered the common room. She did however feel when
Harley jumped up on her lap. Reaching out to grab him she put him up near her shoulder and scratched behind his ears.
"Hey there little guy."
No matter how hard she tried to forget about Finn she was always going to be constantly reminded of him every time Harley was around. Why'd he have to go and give her a gift that couldn't be stuffed in the bottom of her trunk.
Staring back into the fire, her concentration was broke by a voice. A voice that belonged to one of the people she had been missing a lot.. one of her she-snake besties. Turning to look at her, Marie gave her friend a little smile.
"Hey Ev. I wasn't hungry." Looking past her, Marie was sure she was going to see Destiny following behind, but didn't.
"Where's Destiny? Off stuffing chocolate in her face somewhere?" Knowing Destiny she was probably off hiding her chocolate all around the school so Ev couldn't find it all and get rid of it.
