He was almost going to take off the hood just to prove his point, but decided against it. It wasn't a very nice thing to do, after all, and he could find ways to get his answers. So, he stood there, waiting to see if she made up her mind, because she was thinking, he could see that, and told him about it.
Okay. So, there! He wasn't seeing things, and her hair HAD changed colors.
The boy actually got just a liiiittle bit closer to hear her better, and smiled widely again, "Serious?" he couldn't even complete the question, "But that's amazing!" his tone was far from low this time around, but, trust him, he won't mention it around. It seemed Kurumi would rather keep it a secret and he kind of understood why.
"I won't mention it, by the way," the softer tone returned. Man, this was the best feast ever.
Kurumi was glad that she had put the sunglasses on before coming over to the Hufflepuff table instead of waiting. The gleam from Treyen's teeth was almost too brilliant even with them on.
Nodding sheepishly, she looked up at the Puff once again. "
Thank you."
And she meant it.
Then, her eyes flicked towards his shinny new Prefect badge and her eyes widened.
"
YOU!" she squeaked pointing at the badge. "
You're a Prefect this term! Congratulations!"
Now he could put that smile to good use!
