| Matt Lanter/The Dark Side/Anakin Skywalker/ Underland/Hookah Smoking Caterpillar So here's the next little part!!! And thanks guys for your comments!!! I luffers yous Coralie stepped out of the bathtub. Before wrapping a towel around her body, she turned in the mirror, examining her back. Some of the bruises had begun to go away, now a yellowish brown than a purple. She still had scars though, those would never go away. Her body looked fine other than that. She looked better than she had in… well, ever. Coralie threw her old dark purple dress over her head, which dropped to about midway over her shins.
I need a new dress, she thought. She saw the light blue dress Jaxon had given her a couple of days ago. So much has changed since then. In just a few days she was away from her father, away from her brothers. She had a new home, and it was here. Or at least temporarily.
“Coralie?” There was a slight knock and Jaxon’s voice floated through the door. “Dinner’s ready.” he said.
“I’ll be right out,” she called back gently and she heard his retreating footsteps soon after.
The girl picked up the locket she had placed next to the sink. Instead of putting it back on, she placed in her pocket; She’d worry about her mother later.
She ran her fingers through her brown curls, which were still slightly wet. When she was content with her image, she finally picked up her clothes and went back into her room.
She was surprised to see Jaxon standing there. He was fingering through a small leather bound journal: Coralie’s journal.
“What are you doing?” she asked quickly, before she could even stop herself.
Startled, the boy dropped the book, which made a thud as it hit the bed.
“I-I’m sorry.” he stuttered, flushing slightly.
Wordlessly, Coralie put her dirty clothes in a small pile next to the dresser. She had put her things away earlier, all of which had only taken up two drawers.
“It’s fine.” she said at last. She picked up the journal and stuffed it into one of the drawers.
Jaxon cleared his throat, somewhat uncomfortably. “Reyes and I were talking in the kitchen. And… and my dad has a file on your dad. He found something… not right.”
The squib turned around, searching his face. “What?” she asked.
He hesitated. “Coralie, how did your mother die?” Hmmmm. How was that?

I’m by myself, please excuse me
