Her big sister's owl was so pretty. "What's your owl's name, sis?"

Adelyn threw her arms around her little sister as she ran into her. "Of course I'm here! I'm so glad to see you, too!" She exclaimed, laughing as Melina's bounced up and down, and then released her from their hug before taking a seat.

"I understand exactly what you mean. Well. Mostly I can imagine what you mean." Adelyn half laughed, half shrugged. Her mother had only taken her as far as the entrance to the platform, even her first year. This year, she had just dropped her off at the entrance to the station. "Your dad is probably really proud of you, going off to your first year at Hogwarts!"

She reached inside of Melina's bag of sweets, pulling out something random and popping it in her mouth. "Yum. Thank you!"

"His name is Sirius." Adelyn stated, reaching into his cage to stroke his wigs.
