Arriving in the Perfect compartment, he called out the window to his father who stood on the platform, "OK send them to me!" One by one, miniture charmed versions of his suitcases floated through the window, only to return to their usual sizes as they touched down onto the floor of the compartment, "Thanks Father! Love you!" He called, unashamed to express his adoration for the man who was not only his father but his hero and idol.

Turning to the other Perfects whom he had smiled at on his way in, "Hello everyone!" he cried, excited to be heading back to school, taking off his sunglasses and placing them into his hand luggage

Soon after he was seated, the compartment door flew open one more time, which was something that will happen many more times since they were missing a few more Prefects in here.

It was...Destiny's friend, no? The Gryffindor Prefect. "Heeey Patroclus," yes, that was his name, no?

Treyen smiled and waved Patroclus' way, before turning to the door...and...

By some miracle the muggle volvo car was packed with trunk, pets and family on the usual leave time. What got the whole family in a stressed state was that they had to drive back two times to the house to fetch Sophie's diary and a second time for her prefect badge.*flail*

It was a flushed, red faced and not to mention overly stressed Gryffindor prefect that dragged her trunk into the still open prefect compartment. Sophie sat her cat carrier down on along with her hand luggage before she even acknowledged the other prefects already seated. Plastering on a smile Sophie managed to Patroclus, Iris and Ivy. "Hey everyone! How was your last few days of summer?"

Seeing a darkhaired boy whom she couldn't quite place (Treyen) she walked over and stuck a hand out saying "Hi! I don't think we've met? I'm Sophie Connolly, Gryffindor sixth year prefect."

...he knew her, okay? Just...not by name.

He also had no idea she was a Gryffindor. Exactly, where had Treyen seen her? Probably around the Castle on weekends? It didn't matter now, he stood up and took her hand for a proper greeting, "Nice to meet you, Sophie, I'm Treyen Lockhart, Hufflepuff Prefect." Like, that was rather obvious, the Prefect part.

"Not an easy morning, I suppose?" because his morning was NOT a very easy one, and he recognized the effects such a thing could have on people, or in this case, Sophie.

"Ivyleaf." She plopped into the seat beside her bestie, and slung her arms around her for hugs before easing back into the seat. "Gavin." Cute sleeping falcon. Heh.

So many distractions in this compartment. Including... "Treyen?" Her eyes finally did a proper sweep of the room as she greeted the others again with more distracted smiles and finger wiggles, and settled on someone she didn't expect to see in the compartment. What was her best badger buddy doing in here?

Treyen's eyes fell on this much-too-familiar person that had intruded into their compartment. "Arya?" he said, after she probably wondered the same thing.

Then again, Arya was very close to Ivy, chances are that she'd been invited to spend the journey to Hogwarts with her best female friend, no? Yeaaah, that was it. He was just so clever.

"I'm Prefect." He smiled her way, just in case Arya was wondering what he was doing here.

It wasn't that he didn't like his co-prefects, because they were pretty epic, but he had other friends that he wanted to see, before they kind of didn't see each other considering that they'd have tons of work to do.

Ahh. He was here now. Pushing the compartment door open he walked into the compartment. "Hey guys." Headboy Carmicheal at your service. It seemed quite a few of them were here now. Maybe he should've come a bit sooner. Ahh well. He was here now and that was all that mattered.

Well, someone was in a super-excited mood? Sure, yeah, he was the new Head Boy, but still...he lacked a couple exclamations points in his speech. Was he..not excited to be oh-so-close to Hogwarts?

"Hey, Fin." There, no exclamations points whatsoever. Only one nod after the greeting. It was the Finlay way, no?

Mmmmhmmm. No, Treyen wasn't precisely aware of who this one was, then again, he often kept away from Slytherin. Except, he failed to do so. On numerous occasions.

Evan. Right. Nod, "Evan. I'm Treyen." Another nod. That was enough for an introduction, right?

And then it hit her. "Oooh, so you're the male Hufflepuff prefect!" she exclaimed with a grin as she gave him not one but two thumbs up. "Congrats, you'll make a great one."

_________

Grinning as her friend noticed Treyen, she giggled. "Yup and he's not just here as a decoration either." Hint, hint.

_____________

"So guys, did everyone read about that ship on the Black Lake?" she opened slyly with a playful poke to her best friend. The ship they were going to explore and investigate the split second the feast was over.
" Should make for an interesting term." Nod, nod.

There was a lot of nodding going on ever since he entered the compartment, but that was good, no?

It didn't take long for Ivy to notice the reason why he was here, so he smiled, and sort of blushed when she said he was going to do well. This was an odd way of taking Cedric's badge, right? "Thanks!" he exclaimed, his smile getting wider...and then becoming a smirk when she added the 'decorative purposes' part to Arya.

Right. He was the Yearbook's pretty face, that's decoration enough.

Yet, she mentioned the tiny fact he'd thought interesting when reading that one page in the Prophet. "Do you reckon we'll have other visitors this year? Like Ikenna?" a visitor that requires a full ship for himself? That was probably Lord Borr, eh?

Ah, hell. None of the other captains are in there... What if the rules have changed??? What if they don't want me in there??? What if I step in and THE TRAIN EXPLODES!!?!

No, no, no. That would be foolish.
Aaron was quite unsure whether or not to enter the prefect's compartment... As it stood, all his friends- Iris- were in there. And yes, he was allowed in last year, but he would be the only captain in there! Hmmm... decisions, decisions.

Waaaaaait a minute. I'm Slytherin Captain, and Iris is Head Girl. ... WE ARE SLYTHERIN'S GOLDEN COUPLE! Aaron mentally did a fist pump as he entered the compartment.

"Helloooooooooo, everyone!" [/grandentrance]

Go in or not... Go in or Not? Why were choices so hard? Nope, he wasn't going in... Maybe... What ever, Jacob just needed to go in unnoticed and calm, like he belongs. Just nice, calm, and quiet.

Jacob quickly threw the door open. "Dahlings, I Have Arrived!" he said loudly with his arm open as if he were a celebrity that would be photographed.

Yeah... not quiet Calm or unnoticed. What if they Kicked him out for that? No, Jacob was too awesome to be kicked out... right?

Simon came up tot he compartment just as Jacob his fellow captain had thrown upon the door to announce his entrance causing him to roll his eyes.

"New term new chance for the quidditch cup, Blunt..." he remarked a smirk on his face as if countering the younger boy's behavior as more meant for last term when Ravenclaw had indeed won.

"So this is the fabled prefects' compartment," he mused aloud looking around once he had slid the door closed behind himself and stepped further inside. His gaze now noticing both of his house's returning prefects as well as one out of the two remaining fellow quiditch captains.

And then every single Captain entered, except the Hufflepuff one. Go figure.

He smiled their way, and one extra special smile went over to the Ravenclaw Captain, because he was just an amusing fellow. Seriously, his practices must be pretty funny ones, no?

His eyes went over to the door, though, for it seemed they were one Captain short in this place.
