She carried her small bag and her purse with her while moving forward, looking left and right, searching for a familiar face. Danielle had left her pet owl and her luggage with the man out the train who said they weren't allowed inside and would be placed in the train storage. Hesitantly, Danielle agreed and left her most precious snowy owl with them.
That was when she found an empty compartment, just near the exit. 'Maybe I could sit there and either a stranger or my friends would find me. Anyways, it would always be nice to meet new friends along the way. But..' Danielle thought about it for a while, but decided that she would search the whole train first so she moved on. She opened the door leading to the middle part of the train and closed it behind her. There, she saw Nessie, sitting all alone, looking out the window. Danielle smiled and nearly ran towards the empty seats surrounding Nessie. "Nessie!" Danielle shouted.
Nessie was just about to get up and search the train properly to look for her friends, when she heard a voice call her name. She turned around to see Danielle. She was very glad she had finally somone to sit with. "Danielle!! How are you?" Nessie shouted back. Nessie really hoped they would be in the same house but she thought it be better if she'd worry about that later.
