Hateya got a bit of a wide-eyed look as the older girl talked to her. She understood about half of what had just been said, one of the most prominent bits of it being DON'T DIE. Then there was all that about a charm and a paper bag and...

"I'm Hateya." It came out sort of dazed, as she accepted the bag. She looked down at it, up at the girl, down at it, then asked, "Wait, can you... say that again? It does what now?"

Maybe it could solve her unMerlinly-huge-textbook dilemma.
