Kita wandered towards the back of the train, trying not to think about her supposed 'family' standing on the platform trying to make out that she was the most important thing in the world to them. Gah! Some people can be so stupid sometimes.
At least she was early for once. That was definitely a plus sign. Most of the compartments seemed to be empty. The only problem was choosing one she liked. But being little miss picky, she couldn't find one!
Kita hauled her trunk further along the train. Maybe the snagging a good compartment plan was going to be a total and utter fail. Who knows.
Giving up, she walked into the compartment nearest to her. Placing her trunk and her owl cage on the luggage rack, she slouched down by the window and looked outside. If there was one thing she knew, it was this: it was definitely going to be an interesting year this year...
