Not to worry, everyone struggles to understand in the beggining, I know I did.

Basically RP stands for Role Playing, which is where one User posts the actions of their character often coupled with dialogue with the intention of another User, replying with a reactive post.

For Example....

User One:
It was a really hot day and Tim had decided he would go to Floreans for an Ice Cream, however in his hast to get to the store, he tripped on a loose cobble stone as he rused along Diagon Alley.
"Ouch!" Time cried as his knee hit the stoney ground.

then User Two comes along...

User Two:

As for the Character one, from what I can see you have already come up with a name for your Character, so now you work out what type of person they are going to be, its like writting a story; you pick a name and then add a personality, an appearance, and build on it. Its all up to you, they are no quizs or generators to make the character you play, you just have to use your imagination!
