"Are you here for a reason?," he asked quietly, his voice not threatening, but eerily smooth and calm. "It must be a very, very good reason for one such as yourself, against all advisability and warning, to boldly and without regard to consequences, venture into a place where you clearly are. Not. Wanted. Or welcome."

Although he wasn't completely turning his attention to the woman who had entered, he did look up and give a small bow out of old-fashioned respect. "Ma'am," he greeted quietly, then stood straight once more, looking down at the girl.
