It may kill me inside at times because part of me still loves you, but I will not do without you." He said softly. He asked the question that had been bugging him for a year. "Hal Why did we fight so much?" he couldn't remember. He got up and straightened his clothes and waited for her outside her cubicle.
Hallie continued to mess with her diamond earings, the ones that Connor had given her on her birthday a few weeks before they finally told each other how they had felt. She nodded her head as if he could see her. She could sense he was getting emotional. She listened to what he had to say, and couldn't help but let a couple of tears fall down her face. The Princess wasn't at all concerned at that moment that she might get a disease from sitting on the floor in the shop or that her makeup might get ruined from crying. She took a deep breath, trying to figure out how to answer his question. They had fought a lot. "Because I'm a Princess." Was all she could muster up and say. She knew why, it was because she was selfish, vain and spoiled. She wanted everything her way. And usually always got it. And Connor was too nice of a person, they clashed. Wiping her tears away, Hallie finally stood up from her seat on the floor and changed back into her nice and fancy Muggle clothes. She looked at herself in the mirror wondering if there was a chance to sneak out without Connor seeing her.
