Up the hill from the Magical Creatures Nursery sits the School's stable. Inside the stone building, moss and hay cover most of the wooden floor, and a fresh batch of very young abraxans occupy almost half of the stables. The smell of the stable is musky and pleasant, with a hint of butterbeer scent somewhere in between.

Large wooden barrels filled with butterbeer, and grains which function as the food for the small abraxans, are located near the entrance of the stables; a cupboard stands near by, and it serves as home for bottles that are used to feed the abraxans, as well as brushes, clean rags, gloves and even a few toys for the young winged horses to entertain themselves.

Just outside the back door of the stone building is the designated paddock for the creatures to roam in under the warm sun. Abraxans like to extend their small wings when out of the stable, and young as they are, they can be a tad delicate still--which is why that you must be careful and watch over the young winged horses at all times. When you're done, take the abraxan back to their respective stall and return all the supplies you may have used, to their designated place.

Come in and familiarize yourself with the creatures, and make sure they are growing up strong and healthy. Professor MacFusty trusts that most of his students are already used to the abraxans, and know thus how to handle them. It is because of this that he expects them to treat them with both respect and care, and will severely punish anyone who mistreats the creatures. If there are any problems, don't hesitate to report them to Professor MacFusty.
