Wow. "Um, wow," she said repeating her thoughts. "You raise and herd cattle and horses?!" Samira whistled, impressed. "I can't even keep track of my earrings and shoes!" The thought of raising a lot-and much bigger-animals slightly baffled Samira. She wondered how it worked. She perked up at the word 'Hippogriff'. Hippogriffs were one of her favorite creatures. Her eyes sparkled. "Aren't Hippogriffs some of the most beautiful creatures you have ever seen? I love them!" Samira's enthusiasm was evident, and she worked to control herself.
Smiling a little, she answered Penny's question calmly and coolly. "Originally, I was born in America, but I don't really think that counts as my home." Okay, that sounded confusing. Samira decided to clarify. "My family travels. A lot. So whenever we're together, or I'm back from Hogwarts, we're on the move. New places, new cultures."
Sometimes it got a bit tiering, but Samira couldn't really say she didn't enjoy it. It would just be nice to...you know...relax sometimes.
Penny laughed at Samira's reaction. She got that a lot from people that didn't live out where she did. There was a TON of hard work involved but she loved doing it. Samira caught on to the hippogriff part and gushed on the subject. Nodding her head the 14 year old chuckled.
"Yeah. They can be a bit stubborn when they want ta be but they are pretty."
Running a hand through her red hair she listened to some of Samira's history. Penny couldn't imagine traveling around ALL the time. The sounded exhausting!
"Wow. That sounds exhausting to be honest." She said speaking her thoughts aloud.
"I've traveled with Papa a couple tymes but never for too long. I'd go crazy."
Penny loved traveling but coming home was always something to look forward to. That's what made traveling so much fun. Levi pushed against her leg and wagged his tail.
"Well, I think I'm gonna buy this collar for Levi and then head out. I think we've spent too much tyme in here."
Fixing her stetson she looked at Samira.
"You're welcome to join us if you want. I was headed to get some school robes next."
