85. Snappish
"Where have you been?" Starr ran up to Caroline and hugged her. Although her anger was obvious.
"I just went for a walk that's all." She said eyeing her sister strangely.
"Without telling me!" She shouted. "I think you should pack your bags and go home."
"But.... but........ Why?" Caroline had never seen Starr so snappish before unless she had… “Mum?”
Their mother came out of the kitchen into the hallway where they were arguing. It had been the first time she had seen her mother summer.
Caroline gulped, that’s why Starr was so on edge.
“Come on. Can‘t a mother spend time with her girls”
