"Hey... hey kid, wait," Daniel called to the girl who was leaving. "Those only cost 2 galleons." Couldn't let the kid get away without her money. 8 galleons could be a lot. Quote:
Hateya shrugged; she was more of a go-nuts-experimenting type girl than a never-put-the-book-down type girl. Still, it was good to know a bunch of books would be there in case she needed them, "I'll do that. One of my friends loves books a ton, so I'll tell her too."
One fish through the coin purse later, she handed over the two galleons, "That's probably a good idea. They're beat-up enough without me getting ice cream on them."
Which... yeah, totally going for ice cream after this.
Daniel chuckled at what the girl said. He knew by experience that books and food did not mix.
Unless they were cookbooks.
With another wave of his wand, the books were wrapped and in the back and Daniel took the money, placing it in his till. "I hope you have a fun first year," he told the girl, handing the bag over to the young girl.
