"Dragon?" It wasn't so much that Adam was surprised, but he had thought that the dragons were always kept under good restraints. What did 'loose' apply, exactly? Should they expect it to burst through the floor at any moment?

And...he..had no idea where he'd like to start. Wherever he was supposed to? "Wherever 'm needed, I suppose." But it wasn't like he could speak for Gideon.
She nodded she was liking this Adam more and more. Not that she hated wizards, she could just run her bank quite fine without them. But if she thought like that she wouldn't have her job. "Well Adam I want you on the excavation team. We have 6 months to expand 100 vaults. We've already hit iron and ore and its going to be tough going." She pulled out a watch and looked at it with a frown she placed it back in the pocket of her Gringotts vest. "Is that something you want to work on?" she asked. Of course she was going to assign him to wherever she needed him to be but it was at least nice to make a show of asking.

Hmm... Yea, okay, like he controlled when he decided to be hired? Dragon loose? He didn't do creatures. But mints on the other hand... the sarcastic mindset wanted to know what kind of mints ... you know, wintergreen, fresh mint, peppermint . . . ? But the serious, more knowledgeable side gave him a distinct feeling that Ms Tumplin was not talking about the kind of mint that freshened your breath.

"Mints are good." Yup, yup. He's picked where he wanted to start.

Her sharp green eyes turned to the other one. He was still being smart. "Goblin mints are the best in the world and we here at the London branch have the biggest mint. And we here produce over 50% of the wizarding gold in the world." She didn't care what those goblins in Egypt said. "So don't be smart about that." she told him sternly. "You Mr. MacNeil will be in charge of tracking and subduing our runaway dragon. She's a baby so she should be easy enough to capture." she told him with a smile. She wasn't going to mention that the dragon was a hybrid they had been breeding. He would find that out soon enough.
