Cedric was born in California and lived with his parents and his brother and sister. He is rather embarrassed by his family, so he often spent time away from home during his adolescence. Once he started attending Hogwarts, Cedric was having the time of his life, because it gave him the independence that he desired so much at that time.

Despite living in England for the majority of his life, Cedric has a very distinguished American accent and it hasn't seemed to have buckled over time. Not that he minded, he likes standing out from the crowd. After having a wonderful seven years at Hogwarts, Cedric graduated then left home straight away, finding his own apartment located in London. He isn't a particularly family orientated person, but keeps in touch every so often.

Cedric is an easy going person most of the time. He was not the best student academically at Hogwarts but his grades were average, although he did have a tendency to be late for classes. He is very good at playing the guitar, and has been doing it all his life. He has also been a keen lover of skateboarding, although feels he may be outgrowing that hobby nowadays.

Cedric has always been brave and could be very resourceful and clever in certain situations. He has a lot of pride, and is starting to finally realize that he does not need to impress everyone, although it is tough for people to criticize him.Overall, Cedric is a very upbeat guy with a right sense of humour. He can even display childlike behaviour, due to his excessive pranking nature when he was a child/teenager.
