The teaser trailer for Tom Felton's upcoming thriller, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, also costarring James Franco, Andy Serkis, Brian Cox, and Frida Pinto, has been released online. Tom's featured very briefly, however; the story, a prequel to the classic Planet of the Apes, revolves around a scientist who tries to find a cure for Alzheimer's disease by testing it on apes, specifically one named Caesar, who mutates drastically as a result of the treatment. Caesar then leads a revolt with his fellow apes against mankind; Tom plays Dodge, one of the villains, and son of Brian Cox's character. The trailer can be seen here.







Rise of the Planet of the Apes is set to be released in theatres on August 5, 2011.
