Simon was slightly taken back by the sir from the shopkeeper as she addressed him, not thinking he looked that old even at 16 but he did his best not to show his reaction. "Just the beater's bat," he answered politely. Kyle noticed Simon shrug and couldn't help but chuckled over to him smiling still. "Yeah its going to be, at least the reunion's only a week long before the end of the holiday." Kyle smiled over to him happily.
She smiled gain as he said the bat was a birthday gift. "Well, I hope that the birthday goes well," she smiled happily. She couldn't help but smile at the fact that he looked a little taken aback by the fact he was called sir...she would have been taken aback if she were called Ma'am. So she understood full heartedly.
