Escaping from the Prefects compartment, Iris made her way down the main cars of the train. Hopefully she'd find her friends - or at least some of them - around this part of the train. She really wanted to talk with them all, make plans for the summer.
This was going to be their last summer as Hogwarts' students, technically. They needed to make the most of it. Iris didn't really like the thought of that, but she really did want to make the absolute most from this summer holiday.
Satine hurried through the cars trying to find her Slythie friends. The feast just went by too fast and she hadn't had time to sneak over to the Snake table. Finally in the middle cars, she saw her favorite blonde Snakey.
She stood on her tippy toes over the crowd and waved at her, yelling, "
Iris!" over everyone's head.
As she got closer she hugged her friend tightly, "
O girl, there is sooooo very much I must tell you!" she said shaking her head up and down with a serious look on her face.
