Mop? Was that that lesson last term? Where they flew magic carpets, too!!! Gah! That was so fun! Nothing beat a broom, though. The mops sucked. Annie definitely shouldn't base flying off of those.
Blink. Blink.
But getting hurt was PART of it. Well, of Quidditch. Ellie didn't really think anyone got hurt just from landing. "You know YOU control the landing, right?" Therefore, she could land as hard or soft as she pleased. "Don't you get hurt in football?" There was a huge ball pelting through the air, after all. Nothing like Bludgers, but still, someone was BOUND to get hurt.
Oh. BEAM. It was back.
But she oh-so-modestly shrugged. "I grew up with it. I'm used to everything." That WAS modest, right?
She was gonna 'splode into a ramble of Quidditch in a second. If she kept being FLATTERED like that.
"Yes, I know..." Annie responded, trying to figure out if she really rememebered how to land on the field without getting hurt. Nope, not a chance she could do that.
"I mean, I become way too nervous to even think about landing. I..." Yeah, Annie was having those kind of brief nerve attacks that portrayed how weird you could turn.
Ellie sounded like Annie, although the girl thought football-wise. All she could do was smile and nod. It was right to try to be modest, because after all, maybe they were to dedicate some time of their life into a sport.
"When was the first time you rode a broom?" Nice one Annie, that could hit the target for Ellie to talk about Quidditch.
