Of Summer Days and Stary Nights

Teens chatted happily with one another around her, laughter filling the air and merging with the soft, upbeat melodies played in the background. The scratchy noise of a quill tip moving quickly over parchment came from a boy sitting with his back against the log she perched on.

Smiling, the blonde stared into the crackling fire, completely at peace with her surroundings. She was glad Zachary had suggested music camp, he was right. It was fun.

"Hot chocolate?"

Lifting her gaze from the campfire, Nevaeh was met with a friendly smile and an offered mug.

"I'm Emery, by the way."
