| Super Slytherin Buddy | | ⅓ She-Snake Trio | | a normal girl with normal knees
This was her last final she was taking, and she just wanted to be over with it. Sure, it was Divination, which meant it was one of the hardest subjects for her to get through, but it was the last one! The subject of Divination wasn't all that hard, it was just the keeping awake part that she seemed to have trouble with. Even with just finishing up the written part of the final, Evelyn could already feel herself nodding off somewhat.
Blinking for a moment, staring at her finished parchment, Evelyn rubbed her hazel eyes and slouched in her seat for a moment before getting up and walking over to grab her own...card deck? Or should do Tasseomancy?
Standing in the middle of the room pretty much, the Slytherin girl glanced between the two, deciding which would have been better. She'd more than likely fall asleep doing Tasseomancy, but that celtic cross spread...she was not a fan of it. Drinking tea was so much more soothing and calming as well though. Good Merlin, why was she even thinking over this?
Pouring herself a cup of warm tea, she moved back over to her desk and sat down, slouching in her seat once more, crossing one leg over the other. Blowing on the tea, she took a small sip for a moment before sitting there, thinking of the question she had in mind when she was pouring the actual tea: How was this summer going to turn out?
After a few minutes of feeling herself nod off to dreamland, the Slytherin girl sat up straight, noticing the tea was practically gone from the cup except a small bit. Good. Maybe she could get through this without sleeping then.
Flipping the cup over on her saucer, she waited a few moments before flipping it back over, staring at the contents on the inside. Hmm, yes, it looked just as she suspected it would. Like a bunch of tea leaves. Though, vowing that she would actually try on this final and not write down there were a bunch of lines everywhere, Evelyn peered at the rim of the cup, trying to figure out what there was that could actually be a symbol of some sort.
Hmm, it took her a few tries, but finally, she just considered that line, tea leaf clump thing right there to be...a mountain. A mountain meant a goal of some sort. Though, it was difficult? A difficult goal, but it was doable. So, her summer was going to be difficult, but she'd get through it? Now that uplifted her spirits somewhat about it all. She had been extremely nervous about it, but this cup...it was telling her it'd be alright. Now she was starting to understand why Josh enjoyed the subject so much.
Turning the cup just a bit more, her gaze trailed down the sides and towards the bottom, searching for anything else that may look like a picture. flames would have been pretty awesome to see, but after reading that parchment list finally, she figured she could do without the flames for a little bit. Yet, this part, it looked like...a cup? No. If she looked at it from the other way...it looked like...a bird. No! It was a fish. Maybe?
Scowling, she leaned a little closer to the cup to inspect it. Yea, that was definitely a fish. A fish meant something about a teacher, and sharing of knowledge. So, she was going to be meeting a teacher? What?
Raising a brow, Evelyn glanced at her parchment before writing down her interpretation of her tea leaf reading, and somehow figuring out an interpretation for the fish. Two images were good enough. A fish? Just...really? Whyyyy?
But that didn't matter! She was done! Done with it all. She can now go and lay by the lake...and fall asleep. Or something. It didn't matter, because she had free time now. Free time to do anything! Standing up, Evelyn cleaned up her desk and brought her parchment up to the front, handing it to the Professor. More importantly...the girl didn't fall asleep. That...was an accomplishment. "Goodbye Professor Bishop. Hope your summer will be pleasant."
Teehee, hers surely will be! According to the tea leaves anyhow.
