Nika scribbled down the notes as fast as she could and then she began to calculate the numbers like everyone else.

She stuck out her tongue and furrowed her eyebrows. What's missing? Wow. A lot of numbers. Nika ticked off all the numbers one through nine to find out that she is missing three. Nika quickly took out her text book and flipped through her pages and read.

Nika read through each number and nodded her head. Well she could understand some of the things but others didn't seem right. As she read number 6 she noticed family focus. That was the part that stuck out to her the most. What is this trying to tell her? Nika strained her brain trying to come up with something and then it hit her. "My sister." She knew they are starting to get farther apart and Nika knew why. If only her sister were magical. Nika knew what this meant. Maybe she should cancel the trip with her friends. Besides her sister is important.

Nika moved forward from that thinking point and went on to take a closer look at the number 7. Nika shook her head fast because she agreed with every word. Nika isn't a very wise person. Not only is she struggling in classes, but the whole concept of "wisdom" isn't getting through to her. "Okay I have to be more wise and mystical?"

And then she moved on to the last one. She read authority and looked back a little angered. "Well I only just turned 12 what kind of authority can I even have!?!" Nika moved on to the next word, finances. "Again only 12!" Geez. Then she read business and had the same reactions. When she got to success she drew the line. "So I'm not successful!?! I'm just a bum? No this is not right! I am not a bum! I refuse to be!" Nika crossed her arms across her chest and kept reading the only one on number 8 that she could agree with was organization. She is lacking organization big time.
