Salander was riding the broom a little ways off the ground. So all they need to do was pop the balloons with the bat? Sounds easy enough.
Then again does that mean he should start chasing these things? Not on his young precious life!
He cruised on his broom and actually waited for one of the balloons bounce off one of the more overeager students. Then....
