"She is from Mexico," Kurumi said suddenly staring at the fire glowing brightly in the fireplace. That much seemed obvious to her from Selina's description.
Kurumi knew that she wasn't all that special to look at. She never wore any make-up despite other second year girls beginning to show interest. Her hair was almost always up in a side pony-tail. The only really unique feature she had were her violet eyes, but even those had felt like a curse while growing up.
"Yeah, they meet in Mexico. But like I said before that doesn't guarantee anything. You are jumping to conclusions Kurumi, I can see it in your eyes. Don't do that. He cares about you and you him. Why do you need to complicate it with a girl he hasn't even met yet." Selina hoped she was getting through to her, but affairs of the heart complicated logic.
"Look, just because she is pretty doesn't mean you aren't. You are very pretty and another girl will never change that. Have some confidence Kurumi. Have some confidence in yourself, have confidence in Adam."
