The grin faltered though. Put. The Trophy. Down? He stared at her. "Jacob said I had to look after it," he said. And for once, the young boy had both listened to his Captain, and was going to do what he said. Taking it from his head, he hugged it again. "Don't want someone trying to be sneaky with it, do we?" His face was stubborn. Or trying to be. It hurt his eyes to narrow them properly. The result was probably rather amusing.
"How're you going to enjoy the party if you have a death grip on it?" For real. It would be hard to eat with it. And it would get heavy after a while, wouldn't it?
Heh. He was SO cute, though. Just...so cute.

"I'm cheered. I've got food." Right. He gestured at the buffet as if it was ALL HIS.
"Sup Spike, my man." Jimmy heard his name and raised a mini sandwich in greeting. "You should eat something, you know to fuel yourself for all trophy lugging. S'hard work, that."
Ellie eyed him a bit.
"Good." Be cheered. Eat.
Her appetite hadn't come back, yet. Hopefully it would before the party was over, though. The food looked amazing.
She released Spike.
"Seriously. Go get something to eat. I promise the trophy will still be here when you get back." Promise.
